Elizabeth Nash is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she received a master’s degree in museum studies. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she received a dual bachelor’s in art history and gender studies from Indiana University, Bloomington. Elizabeth's current position is staff artist of public programming and outreach with Big Car Collaborative. Elizabeth is interested in community development through public art, education, and creative placemaking.

Lover of Indianapolis neighborhoods and community history, Elizabeth is a visual artist turned perpetual student of public history and community memory. She is a proud Near Eastside resident with a dual bachelor’s degree in art history and gender studies and a master’s degree in museum studies. As part of her focus on community development, Elizabeth most recently worked to stabilize families and individuals in the Brookside neighborhood through youth, reentry, and low-income housing programs. Elizabeth's current position is staff artist of public programming and outreach at Big Car Collaborative, where she is most interested in programs that reflect the often overlooked and underrepresented stories of life in Indianapolis.
