Our environments are one of the strongest predictors of our health. I’m an applied researcher and evaluator working at the intersection of public health + built environment, facilitating the development of health-promoting, equitable, and livable communities. At this conference I’d like to learn strategies for evaluating the impact of placemaking initiatives, particularly those with a focus on equity. I also hope to learn how state and local health departments can best support placemaking initiatives.
