Heidi Cohen brought over 25 years of design and management experience with park and recreation and schoolyard projects when she joined TPL in March 2017. Heidi is a licensed Landscape Architect whose projects have received awards from The Art Commission of the City of New York, The Firman E. Bear Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the New Jersey American Society of Landscape Architects. Throughout her career Heidi has worked with local communities to empower them through engagement in the design, programming and stewardship of their park and schoolyard. Heidi leads the New Jersey Parks for People program in the City of Newark and the City of Passaic, as well as other New Jersey locations.
